Solving the Problem of Bad Breath!

So what is the reason behind this problem of bad breath? The most obvious answer would be lack of good hygiene and this does not only include general
hygiene but your dental hygiene as well. People who don't brush or floss regularly often have the problem of food getting stuck in between their teeth and
gums. Now if you don't clean your teeth after a meal, the food that is stuck will start to decay and will then start to emit bad odors.
Lack of good dental hygiene can allow bacteria to start flourishing in your mouth, which can lead to a whole of host bad problems for you including gum
diseases and tooth problems. There are also some drinks and food that you should avoid in order to solve your problems of bad breath:
Eating and drinking are not the only causes of bad breath, and these factors also have a role to play in the bad odor that comes from your mouth:
If you have a dry mouth, it can cause dead cells to build up, which then cause bad breath. This is the reason why you have bad breath early in the morning,
since your mouth is dry.
Some diseases can also cause bad breath or halitosis. These chronic diseases are:
Gastroesophageal reflux disease
Liver or kidney failure
Sometimes the respiratory conditions of your body may not be working properly, and this may cause bad breath. This is the reason why you have bad breath
when you fall sick.
Smoking is the number one cause of bad breath, since it causes your mouth to go dry. People who use tobacco products are more likely to have halitosis,
oral cancer, gum disease and poor oral health.
Solving Bad Breath
In order to fight your bad breath problem, you should look to do the following things:
• Avoid all drinks and food that facilitate in providing bad breath.
• Clean your mouth and teeth after every meal and twice a day.
• Clean your tongue thoroughly in order to eliminate any dead cells buildup.
• Drink plenty of water to keep your mouth hydrated and fresh.
• Eat plenty of vegetables and fruits on a daily basis.
• Get regular dental checkups (at least twice a year).
